Article in Wired a while ago showed you how to make a “fake model” from a photograph. Check out the technique here.
The basic premise is that when you view a landscape photo you’re generally looking at something that’s got a large field of vision, wheras macro photos naturally have a small one, so when you see the blurs your eyes tell your brain it’s looking at something small.

This is quite good fun – but what makes it great is that Microsoft Maps has an aerial photography feature. Which means if you’re lucky enough to find your house on it then you get to turn your house into a weeny model!
